No. 001 is the first project ever listed. Each card links to a full page with: - A description of the project and a followed link to its website - Its socials, all in one place - The Broker or Intern that built it, shown in the corner of the card - A **BrokerBuilt Verified** seal and certificate you can add to your own site That page is a third-party mention of your project on a site you don't own. It's in the sitemap, the RSS feed and our llms.txt, so search engines and AI assistants can find it too. # How verification works Before a card goes live, we check onchain that the submitter's wallet holds the Broker or Intern they named. The wallet is never published. Verified projects agree to eight plain rules, the [BrokerBuilt Standards](/standards/), and anyone can [check a seal](/verify/) to confirm it's real. # It's free There's no fee to list and no token gate to browse. Here's how it works and how to check one. # What the seal certifies - The builder's wallet held the named Broker or Intern when the project was verified, confirmed onchain. - The project is real and working, and does what its listing says. - The builder agreed to the Standards: honest claims, no financial promises, respect for IP, and fair treatment of customers. The seal is **not** an endorsement, a quality guarantee, financial advice or a license to StonkBrokers art. It certifies one thing: verified holder-built. # The 10-second check 1. **Click the seal.** A real seal opens its certificate on brokerbuilt.xyz. If it doesn't link here, it's fake. 2. **Match the website.** Each certificate lists the one site it's valid on. A seal shown anywhere else is being misused. 3. **Read the status.** Only *Verified* and *Under review* are valid. You can also look up any certificate by project name, website or certificate ID on the [verify page](/verify/). # What the statuses mean - **Verified:** valid. The project meets the Standards. - **Under review:** still valid while we look into a report or re-check ownership. - **Lapsed:** the builder no longer holds the Broker or Intern. Not valid until re-verified. - **Suspended:** not valid until an issue is fixed. - **Revoked:** permanently not valid, and the project is removed from the directory. Seals update themselves. If a status changes, the badge on the builder's own site changes too. # Seen something wrong? If you spot a seal on the wrong site, a fake badge, or a verified project breaking the Standards, [report it privately](/verify/#report). Every report is reviewed by hand.
